It has been about 4 days since the landlord and the roomie have left on their vacation across America. Chris needed some time away after finishing up school and Atiyeh has to be in a wedding in New York in a few weeks. So they decided to combine the two and make a month out of it. And that means that I as well get sort of a vacation. I went grocery shopping and haven’t left the house much. Mostly watching DVD’s and videos. I have a lot of movies. But tonight I am going to LA to a screening of a movie that I worked on a while ago. “The Source” is a low budget comic book type of movie. Kinda like the Craft meets Super Chicken. Some kids take a potion and get powers. With great power comes great responsibility. I am looking forward to a really bad movie. I am sure I will be of a handful of people that will ever get to see a film print of this movie projected on to an actual theater screen. Also it will be fun to see if they have butchered my name in the credits as has happened in the past- Tony Perogie anyone. In addition to the screening there is a party afterwards with food and drink. You see this movie is part of Hollywood Video’s Last Rights program. I don’t know what that is but it means free food and drink and that is good enough for me. But even better than that is the fact that I am going to the mall first and I am going to pick up the Casio WQV3D-8. It is the new color digital camera watch. I have the WQV3-1 now and it is greyscale and has a resin band. The new one is all color (this is soo cool) and has a metal band, much nicer than the first one. So with any luck I will have some photos to post tomorrow in blazing color.
