when you make a mistake at work do you ever stop to think about how much money that mistake may have cost the company in dollars? When I am at work, such as today and I make a mistake it could cost thousands of dollars. If you have a good work ethic or any self respect you most likely don't like to make mistakes at work ( or at all for that matter ). But I would venture to guess that if you knew how much money each blunder cost you might be more careful. This doesn't mean that accidents won't happen. Just that you will see them as they happen not just after the fact. That brings me to today and the 15 hour day of work. I had what you might call a bad day. How bad, about $50,000.00 bad. and in just 7 hours I have to get up and spend some more of the production's money.
