Today at an auction I won a PXL 2000 ( it is a video camera of sorts. very cool and very fun.) and a Lowel light kit. It was a little expensive to some and a great bargin to others. when I woke up I was not expecting to spend any money. But as far as I can am concerned it was a good deal. Something is only worth what you are willing to pay for it. There is always someone that wouldn't have paid that much. And that's why you have it and they don't.
I have been taking all kinds of exciting pictures with some of my many many film cameras. I ever so slightly modified a Kodak Brownie so it can take 35mm film instead of the extinct 620mm film. The first roll was just a test and although nothing really came out I learned a lot and the next roll will be spectatular.
