Tonight my friend Billy and I went to a Clippers basketball game at the Staples center. They were playing the Blaze. I think they were from Portland. As you might be able to tell I don't follow basketball to much. The tickets were given to us by Billy's friend Jared, who along with his business partner were suppose to join us at the game. That actually was the only reason I went, to hang out with Jared and Billy. It's not that I don't want to hang out with Billy but I was expecting a little more. Anyway that isn't the point of my writing tonight. At the game they have these huge jumbo screens above the floor with all of the action. Well periodically during time outs they would show on the jumbo screen the face of Scotty Pippin a player for the Blaze. And every time they would show his face the crowd would begin to boo and hiss. Now some of you might have only seen this behavior in movies or such but let me tell you that this practice is alive and well in the world of professional b-ball. When I asked my friend about why this was happening he said "the guy makes millions a year and he's a jerk." That may be right but I'm sure he still has feelings just like us. I wonder if his mom feels bad for him whenever someone boos her son.
