Polaroid had developed a companion for their Izone cameras.   It is a hand sized scanner that is totally portable and runs on AAA bateries.  As with the Izone the images the Webster creates are rather small in resolution and storage, roughly 352 x 288 pixels.  The depth of field is about half an inch in front of the glass.  It is after all a scanner but you can't blame a guy for trying.  I'm not sure how much I will actually use this for the scanning in of all my Izone pictures but I am sure that I will be messing around with it a bit.
